Hello and Welcome!

When bad things happen, it can turn everything upside down. But you don't have to figure this out alone. You can regain balance alongside someone who has the training and experience to know how to help. Using EMDR, rape counseling, mindfulness techniques, animal-assisted counseling, and other evidence-based approaches, I have guided many people on the journey from feeling broken or invisible to feeling whole, free, and empowered again. Our therapeutic counseling sessions will give you a deeper understanding of how you’ve been affected by what happened to you, so that we can work together to put it in the past and give you the tools you need to live fully now.

Difficult experiences can bring up:

  • New fears and strong emotional reactions.

  • A sense that you've lost a part of yourself.

  • Difficulty in your relationships.

  • Feeling that the people around you do not understand or know how to help.

  • Feeling ashamed, isolated, angry, crazy, or out of control.

These are all normal responses, and there is help.

You don’t have to do this alone

If you would like help recovering from the difficult things that have happened to you, please contact me to request a free 30-minute consultation. We can discuss how counseling can help you reclaim control of your life, and answer any questions you may have about the process.

A message from Peg for survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence and related experiences

Do you know what to do when someone you care about tells you they've been raped? Effectively supporting sex assault survivors not only helps them heal, but also helps change the culture of secrecy that empowers perpetrators. The stories and tips in my TEDx talk show how to support survivors well, and make less space for sexual violence in our world.
